Mission #13 - Historic Route Six-to-Four

Requisites:
10 Workers - Volunteers must be willing to perform labor, such as loading and unloading vehicles, and spend hours at a time in a vehicle. Being able to drive is helpful but not required. Special abilities are not required.
Description: A supply convoy between Region 6 to Region 4 has become short staffed on personnel due to a new strain of the Shift Flu. Replacements are required immediately, thus MARS has authorized ten individuals from the nearby Luceti enclosure to be called in. Although this mission is routine and not considered difficult, volunteers will be rewarded a full 40 participation points if they choose to participate. Selected volunteers must be at the tunnels for retrieval within twenty minutes of this message
Reward: Each volunteer may earn up to 40 participation points for a successful mission.
OOC DETAILS
Despite the brief mission description above, this mission will end up being more than what it appears. About six hours into their drive through the country side, this supply convoy will be ambushed by cultists. Not just any cultists either, these are led by the General. The cultists will be fought off by the security detail of the convoy and any volunteers who happen to be fighters, but it will be an unwinnable fight. But the convoy isn’t lost. Before the battle can reach a climax, everyone present will suddenly and spontaneously black out.
Twenty-four hours later, everyone will wake up in a new location. Although it won’t be obvious at first, they are now all trapped in a dream land. The ten of them are sharing the dream together, with the fate of the Malnosso and cultists unknown. But they are not alone. The General is in this dream too. But rather than attack them, he’ll be doing the unexpected. He knows they’re trapped and the only way to escape is to cooperate together. For a rare opportunity, these volunteers will work with the General to find an escape as allies. Until they find a way out, anyway.
This dream world will have its own dangers. The worst fears of these volunteers will manifest themselves in the dream and try to deter them. They may also come face to face with some of their own memories and dreams trying to distract them. They’ll soon discover this dream world is the fault of the Dream Shifters previously encountered on the Moon. Just like in that dream world, some of them may get trapped inside of fantasy worlds and need to be drawn out by their friends.
Five characters will be drawn out of their fantasies by the General himself. The other five will need to be drawn out by one of those five previously awakened volunteers. (These numbers are flexible, however.)
Please note that your character does not need to be a combatant to participate. The foes faced within the dream may involve some that not even the General will be able to defeat. In some cases, special powers may be useful as a distraction at best.
If you sign up, it would be a good idea to go ahead and start thinking of the following:
What fantasy your character would be trapped in.
How their worst fears might manifest as enemies that need to be fought or escaped from.
